Learning made fun! With Playaways, students can listen to an audiobook with ease. There's no need for any special equipment, juggling cassettes or CDs, or lengthy downloads. The entire book is already loaded on the durable Playaway unit, which is about half the size of a deck of cards and made of droppable plastic. The purchase of Playaway systems and audiobook titles at each elementary school will enable students across all reading levels to access both curricular and popular titles in an exciting format. Struggling and reluctant readers will improve literacy as they learn the joy of "reading" a good book!

Photographs and videos of students and staff are taken throughout the year to be used for the district website, e-newsletters, newspapers (both print and online editions), and other District 67 publicity purposes. The use of District 67 photographs for commercial or endorsement purposes is prohibited. Lake Forest Cable TV films various events for local viewing. If you do not want your child photographed or videotaped for District 67 use, you must submit, in writing, a statement to the Superintendent of Schools.
